Here are some of the basic command prompt codes which can be used to retrieve information about your computer and network connection:
1. ipconfig
This command is used to get information about your system network adapter:
2. ping
The command is used to check your connection between the device and the website you have check up with its web address:
3. getmac
A media access control address (MAC address) of a device is a unique identifier assigned
to network interface controllers for communications on a network.
MAC addresses are 6-byte (48-bits) in length, and are written in MM:MM:MM:SS:SS:SS format.(M - Manufacturer ID & S-Serial ID )
3. netstat
Check your computer’s network connections and open ports
The netstat command lets you see the network connections that are active between your system and any other systems on your network or the internet:
4. cls command
Now when you have to much on your screen Isn't it looks good?
Here is how you can clear your screen :
5. exit command
Done with all such stuffs!!!
Now its time to close your command prompt:
just type Exit and press Enter
